Evelyn got an early birthday present from her dad tonight. No surprise that she loves it. Thanks to all the hard work that Curt has done clearing out our lot line there was room for a tire swing.
She got to play on it for about 15 minutes while I finished putting together dinner. I am sure we will be on it again tomorrow.
No idea what Curt was doing in this picture. But wanted to show the whole thing. Tomorrow Evelyn turns three and will spend the morning with me, then off to Grammie and Bumpa's house for an overnight adventure as Curt and I get ready for her birthday party Saturday. I still have to work out the cake details so wish me luck.
Next year I will put in some more plants to block that electrical box. Can you believe all this clear area was covered with invasive buckthorn. I think it is so neat Evelyn and her little sister will have a woodsy area to play in like I did as a kid.
